NICOTINE REPLACEMENT THERAPY HAS A SUCCESS RATE OF AROUND 15%. I STOPPED SMOKING FROM 60 A DAY TO 0 USING THE BOOK ‘ALLEN CARR’S EASYWAY TO STOP SMOKING’. IT HAS A SUCCESS RATE OF OVER 90%. YES THE FIRST FOUR DAYS WERE DIFFICULT, BUT AFTER THAT IT WAS GETTING EASIER AND EASIER AND IT IS NOW OVER A MONTH SINCE MY LAST CIGARETTE.

@mrspringy2008 Wow, you’re very gracious. That’s quite rare here LOL. I got my wife an e cig and she’s cut down considerably. 2 other friends have gotten on board as well. I know it’s not as good as quitting completely, but to not inhale 4000+ chemicals on a daily basis is all a lot of us addicts can hope for.

@firefox335 yes i understand you point every body is different you are right. it was a bit narrow minded of me! congradulations on stopping the cigarettes, that is definitly a step in the right direction for you.. Good luck in the future in cuttin back the nicotine replacement iam sure you’ll do fine with that too when the time is right.

@mrspringy2008 Speak for yourself. Many of us can’t just quit. But now, I can get my nicotine without burning tobacco, without smoke, or cancer causing carcinogens. I can breathe better. I’ve stopped coughing. I no longer reek of cigarette smoke. I can walk up a flight of stairs and not get winded. I can smell things. And I don’t want to blow my brains out. What good is quitting smoking if you kill yourself because you can’t have a cigarette?
